This is a well-written story that touches the heart. The author has a gift for putting the reader into the scene in a very vivid way. I love the universal themes within the story of sacrificial love, sorrow over wrong choices, forgiveness, redemption and hope. The characters are very real, breathing people. The messages, strong. I liked the way she mad me feel what her character was feeling. Very believable. Great read!Product details

This piece shows the power of a fiction short story having the potential to leave a positive and lasting effect on the reader.
A Mother's Choice is such a thought provoking short story. The author shares a highly compelling story that will touch on every reader's heart and soul. It's impossible not to instantly connect with Jane and feel what she feels. I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to read an Advanced Reader's Copy. I would highly recommend this short story to anyone and everyone.
This is a touching story of hopeful and tragic what if's realized. Life decisions remain within us for the rest of our lives and A Mother's Choice tackles the most sensitive and important issue of our day with loving care.
Perfect example of how forgiveness sets us free to love ourselves as God loves and sees us, always with hope, and a good plan for us, with a light and a path to follow into His open arms, a good Father, happy when we take the path back to our home in His heart where love and light dwell.
The progressions of the characters heightened my imagination to feel the depth of hurt, which opened my heart to healing.
A captivating well written story that illustrates there is forgiveness available even when you can't forgive yourself. After you turn the last page this story lingers in you mind, wondering how many Jane's are scattered across the world that are suffering, due to a long ago impossible choice that seemed the only solution at the time but that decision ended up dominating your life.
Poignant, honest, raw. A short story that will leave an impact. The author has a knack of drawing her readers into the thoughts and motivations of her characters. My heart broke over the grief and regret portrayed by one of the protagonists. Although this short piece exposes darkness, it doesnt leave the reader in that dark place.
